With top and bottom grills measuring 8 by 18, this family-size version of the celebrated George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine grills four burgers or chicken breasts, two big steaks, lots of taco or burrito fillings, or vegetables and seafood. The appliance's appeal lies in its simplicity and countertop convenience--not to mention its fat-fighting ability. By grilling from top and bottom simultaneously, the 820-watt grill cuts cooking time to minutes. It also sears in grill marks, which not only look appetizing but also contribute caramelized flavor. The bottom grill's deep channels collect fat, and the grill is sloped so fat runs off into a dishwasher-safe plastic tray (two are included) stationed under the unit's front. A floating hinge allows the top grill to rise and remain level, ensuring thick food cooks evenly. Because the grill is nonstick, cleanup is a snap: all it needs is a quick scrape with a plastic spatula (included) and a wipe with a paper towel or a sponge. Overall, the grill measures 8-1/2 inches wide, 6 inches high, and 10 inches deep, weighs 5.8 pounds, and is clad in hard, gleaming, white plastic for a sleek appearance. Easy cooking - easy clean-up. I love my George Foreman Grill - I bought this larger size after buying the smallest one that holds just 2 burgers. Chicken breasts are the very best thing to cook; the chicken is tender and juicy and just takes a few minutes. It's also good for making grilled cheese sandwiches or paninis on the thin side, you don't even have to butter the bread, so it's a great way to reduce the fat in your cooking. I wouldn't be without mine.
Also, it's very easy clean-up - but that had a learning curve to it -- I hated the clean-up before I figured this out. I found the best way to clean this since the grill plates are not detachable is to hold it by the lid (open) over the edge of the sink, squirt some Dawn on the bottom plate, scrub with one of those Teflon-friendly scrubbers and then rinse with the sink's spray attachment.
I would have to say the only thing I don't like about it is there should be a way to "attach" the drip pan to the grill. Sometimes it slides away and the fat drips onto the counter top.

My husband and I received this grill as a Christmas gift, It took me a while to finally try it but when I did I was glad. This little guy cooks up one great burger. It's fast, even cooking and the burgers come out just perfect. One of the great featres is the fact that access fat rolls off the meat and is collected in a little tray to be disposed of. I like that since it isn't being deposited on my hips. A BIG plus! It also makes great grilled sandwiches and is a snap to clean. One drawback....it isn't that big so if your family is large you may want to go with a bigger unit. Recommended!

When the Mrs came home with one of these things - I thought to myself, "great, something else we can add to our museum of unused kitchen appliances. There's a spot for it next to the cusinart."
This time I was wrong. Throw a slab of meat in, and presto - perfect juicy, sans grease. I'm actually eating better, and sticking to South Beach Diet due to this. Fresh ground turkey, throw in some olives, sliced mushrooms. Grease and fat drains right out. I find I use this far more often than the frying pan. It's just better for certain types of foods. It cooks food evenly and is never greasy. Some say it's hard to clean but I disagee. It's no where near a bad as a dirty, sticky pan.It also has a great build quality. Simple but terrific product. The exception to the infomercial = junk rule. Ranks higher than the microwave in my book. Every kitchen needs one.
